في يوم المرأة العالمي، لا نحتفل فقط بالمرأة… بل نتوقف لنتذكر قوتها. في غزة، حملت النساء أعباء الحياة فوق أكتافهن؛ في الخيام، في مراكز النزوح، وفي البيوت التي تغيّرت ملامحها. ما بين إعداد الطعام القليل، والبحث عن الماء، واحتضان الأطفال، كانت المرأة تحاول أن تصنع حياةً من بين الركام. وكثيرًا ما اضطرت للنزوح من مكان إلى آخر، حاملةً ما تبقّى من حياتها، تبحث عن مأوى آمن وشيءٍ من الدفء لأطفالها وسط برد الخيام وقسوة الأيام.

On International Women’s Day, we do not only celebrate women; we pause to remember their strength. In Gaza, women have carried the burdens of life on their shoulders—in tents, in displacement shelters, and in homes whose faces have changed. Between preparing the little food available, searching for water, and holding their children close, they try to create life from the rubble. Many have also been forced to move from one place to another, carrying what remains of their lives, searching for safe shelter and a little warmth for their children amid the cold of the tents and the harshness of the days.
